About matt & adam

Matt Martin is one of the foremost vegan chefs in the Charlotte, NC area. He currently is an owner of Freshlist, a local-food company that champions local famers and provides the best regional products direct to restaurant kitchens and homes alike.

Adam Duke is the owner of Dukes Bread, a wholesale bread company he started in 2010 that delivers to over 70 restaurants, markets, and stores across the greater Charlotte area. He was a classically-trained pastry chef in a past life, and occasionally likes to pretend he’s still got it.

Title Belt started during a dinner & game night amongst friends. On a whim, Adam decided to make vegan ice cream for Matt, whose grandmother used to run an ice cream parlor when he was young. Matt wouldn’t let up that this product was better than anything on the market. Theming it after their shared love for professional wrestling, Title Belt was born.
